Columbia College celebrates Victory Day

Today is Victory Day at Columbia College! Please join the CC community — TODAY — in supporting its students and your Koala athletes.

Every year on June 5th, Columbia College celebrates the alumnae who sought to rebuild the College after the devastating fire of 1964. In true Koala spirit, the alumnae banded together to raise $100,000 through a strong fundraising campaign to start a rebuilding fund for the College. On June 5, 1965, the Alumnae Association presented a gift of $372,170 (today's equivalent of $4,000,000) to Columbia College, exceeding their initial goal of $100,000. Thus, June 5th would become Victory Day, an annual reminder of the alumnae who helped to keep the Columbia College legacy alive!
