Prospective Student-Athlete Questionnaire
The Department of Athletics at Columbia College is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC). The Koalas compete in basketball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track & field, and volleyball.
Athletic questionnaires are viewed by recruitment and coaching staff.
Two student-athletes were named to the AAC All-Academic team and another was named a Champion of Character in 2017.
The team attracts student-athletes from down the street and across the world inlcuding England, Spain, and Germany in 2017.
A student-athlete won a tournament medal in the Fall AAC Tournament. Columbia golfers compete in two conference tournaments.
The team placed second at the AAC Championships and was ranked 8th in the nation. Two student-athletes were named NAIA All-Americans.
Columbia Soccer finished 3rd at the AAC Championships. Two players tied for the AAC Golden Boot award, for the most goals scored.
Four student-athletes were named to the AAC All-Conference teams, six were named to the All-Academic team.
The team finished 8th at Nationals. Four swimmers were named NAIA All-Americans, and Jason Gallaher was named AAC Coach of the Year.
Two student-athletes were named AAC Player of the Week as they competed through the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons.
Track & Field
The team placed 4th at the AAC Outdoor Championships while one athlete ranked 17th in the nation for the 1000 meter run.
Continually honored throughtout the Fall Season, one student-athlete took her 1,000th kill and won three AAC weekly awards.
