Koala basketball falls 62-68 to the Bulldogs

COLUMBIA, SC, Porter Gymnasium Women's basketball fell 62-68 to AAC opponent Tennessee Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon at home.


The Koalas came out calm and collected to lead through the first quarter before the Bulldogs pulled 14-12 in the second to nearly tie the score 33-32 at the half. TWU came back, pushing more than double Columbia's points in the third, to snatch the lead 58-45. Columbia wouldn't back down and posted 17 points to the Bulldogs 10 in the final quarter but was unable to close the point gap from the third.
