Keyerra Anderson named AAC Defensive Player of the Week

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Columbia College junior lacrosse defender Keyerra Anderson from Columbia, SC was named Women's Lacrosse - Defensive Player of the Week for week ending 4/02.

Anderson totaled five ground balls and five caused turnovers while starting both games against Appalachian Athletic Conference opponent Tennessee Wesleyan University and NCAA Oglethorpe University. She added two draw controls off the defensive line against Tennessee during her outstanding performance.

Coach Carter was thrilled that Anderson was awarded, "Keyerra is consistently hardworking and a selfless teammate. For her to be recognized out of all the great defensive players in the AAC this week is a great honor. She's always reliable for us in practice and in games. Don't be surprised when you see her play this week thought out the remainder of our season."
