Lanie Treadwell signs with Koalas Soccer

Columbia College Soccer Head Coach Robert Hunter has announced Lanie Treadwell, from Campobello, SC, as the seventh signing for the Koalas 2018 class.

Lanie comes to Columbia from Landrum HS, where in 2017 she helped the varsity squad reach a record number of wins and make the upperstate playoffs.  Lanie has been a member of the varsity squad for the last three years under Coach Cathy Riordan. Outside of school soccer, Lanie played for AYSO, while also claiming two cross-country state championships and multiple region titles for the school through track and cross-country.

As a student at Columbia College, Lanie plans to major in Political Science.

Coach Hunter said, "Lanie was actually the first incoming freshman that committed this year, and she really got the ball rolling on our recruiting class.  We are excited to add Lanie, as she has been an integral part of a Landrum side that has had a huge upswing the last few years.  Lanie will bring a knack for goalscoring as well as a lot of energy and work ethic, and we are glad she has decided to play here at Columbia College."
