Yasurys Peralta commits to Koalas Soccer for 2019

Columbia College Head Soccer Coach Robert Hunter has announced the addition of Yasurys Peralta to the 2019 signing class.

Peralta joins the Koalas after a two year career at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland, where she was a two year starter.  In 2018, she helped the Raptors to a record of 12-3 playing primarily as a defender, and contributed two assists on the season. The Raptors made the NJCAA Region XX Division I Tournament Final as a part of a hugely successful season.

Prior to Montgomery College, Peralta played at Paint Branch High School in Burtonsville, Maryland.

Coach Hunter commented, "Yasurys is a player we are very excited about having join us at Columbia College.  She has a vast amount of experience playing at the collegiate level, and I expect that to translate into her making an immediate impact for our squad.  She is capable of playing a variety of positions on the field and is comfortable being asked to perform various roles, and we look forward to seeing how she fits in with our group this fall."
