The Koalas competed in a double dual meet on Saturday against Fairmont State and West Virginia Tech. In this meet the Koalas beat both teams. Outscoring WVU Tech with a score of 156-59 and also putting up 141-99 against FSU.
Sophomore Haley Stewart had a huge day in the pool. She won her individual 200m freestyle and 50m freestyle. In the 200 she acheived a Bonus Cut, which is her second cut in 2 weeks.
Other winners from this weekend was Sophomore Tabitha Simonson, who won 200m butterfly. Freshman Megan Perry won the 200m Backstroke. And lastly, Senior Cassie Adams won the 100m Butterfly. Coach Gallaher on the teams performance this weekend, "We raced great for the second meet in a row. This is a great sign going into our Conference Championship Meet next week. I saw several great things from the entire team. They have really been diligent in their training, and everything is coming around for them at the right time."
