In what was already a very successful indoor season, Kelsey White- Kennedy had one more event to compete in for the season the NAIA Indoor National Championships. Although she was the only Koala to make the trip out to South Dakota State University, she represented the school, track program and herself extremely well.
White- Kennedy partcipated in two events, the 60m dash and the 60m hurdles, which she won at the conference meet. In the hurdles, the sophomore was able to finish 9th overall with a time of 8.88. Although that does not qualify her as an All-American she still finished top 10 in the nation for all NAIA schools and that is something that should be celebrated. Kelsey didn't finish as well in the 60m dash where she ended the competition in 32nd place.
As for now White-Kennedy will have to wait until outdoor nationals to claim a national title. Until then, she, along with her teammates will continue trainig and preparing for the outdoor season which kicks off March 15-16th as the team competes at Georgia Southern University.
