Tennis Moves to 2-0 Against Converse

The Fighting Koalas tennis team beat Converse College for the second time this season to move to 2-0 on the year.

Columbia College beat Division II member Converse College 5-4.  Beatriz Ospina led the way winning 6-1, 6-0 in singles and 8-3 in doubles.  Senior Windy Yeager and freshman Abbagayle Stevenson also took their doubles match 8-5.  Stevenson was 2-0 on the day, recording a 6-1, 6-3 win on the singles side.  Senior Megan Brown also won her singles match in two sets, 6-1, 6-2.

The Fighting Koalas will next play at Division II member Coker College, on Saturday at 2:00.
