Columbia Athletics to Host Koala Pantry Food Drive During Soccer Games on Sept. 28

COLUMBIA, S.C. - To support the Columbia College Koala Pantry Food Drive, the athletic department will be running a food pantry initiative at the men's and women's home soccer doubleheader on Sunday, September 28.

Fans will receive half price admission to the soccer games if they bring two donated food pantry items to the ticket counter prior to the game. Regular admission is $10 and half price admission is $5.

Faculty and staff will still receive free entry to the events but are encouraged to support the athletes and the food drive.

The soccer games will kick off at 11:00 am with the women taking on Union College while the men kick off at 1:30 pm.

Items needed include protein bars, oatmeal cups, noodle cups, laundry pods, toilet paper, toiletries, reusuable bowls, water bottles, and bottled drinks.
