Life Eagles Too Strong For Koala Men's Lacrosse

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Columbia College men's lacrosse team fell 24-3 at home to conference foe Life University (Ga.) on Saturday afternoon from Younts Stadium.

Life got out to a quick start scoring 8 goals in the opening quarter to grab the early advantage. Senior Goalie Fin Landi allowed five goals on six shots while sophomore goalie Joshua Nguyen came on in relief of an injured Landi to make 10 saves on 29 shots on goal in 53 minutes of action as Life outshot the Koalas 56-19.

Leading with four ground balls and six faceoff wins was freshman faceoff specialist Kai Correia while Norwood and Tanks also picked up two ground balls each.
