Bio

Director of Athletics Glen Crawford named assistant coach Logan Koon as the interim Head Men's Soccer Coach, in August of 2024. After the season in which his team went 5-9-3 and set six school records, Koon was promoted to full-time Head Coach of the men's program. He then led the team to six overall wins and a 4-4-4 conference record in 2025 and to a #6 seed in the conference tournament. They tied the #1 seed and eventual champion Union College 0-0 during the regular season.

Koon also coached a second team All-AAC player in Andre Jackson.

"As we get closer to the season, I'm ready and excited to get started and help our student-athletes succeed on the field and in the classroom," Coach Koon said. Koon's assistant for the season will be Andrew Richardson, the current head boys soccer coach at Spring Valley HS in Columbia and the former assistant for the Lady Koala soccer team.

Koon, a native of Batesburg-Leesville, SC was the Varsity Boys Soccer Head Coach at Batesburg-Leesville HS since 2023 where he won SC Region Coach of the Year in his first year at BLHS.

Coach Koon also served as the BLHS Varsity boys soccer team's assistant coach in previous seasons and had a huge role in the team's success. Coach Koon is a 2019 graduate of Batesburg-Leesville High School where he played soccer and basketball.

He graduated from Lander University in December of 2022 with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Sports Management while being a 6'5 defender on the men's soccer team as well.
