Bio

Max Landau, 27, is entering his first year as the assistant men's soccer coach for the Columbia College Men's Soccer program in 2025.

Landau, a native of North Yorkshire, England spent the past few seasons playing with the Charlotte Eagles & South Carolina United Bantams USL2 as well as playing for Appalachian FC from 2021-2023 as their captain during their first-ever Round 2 US Open Cup run in 2023.

He won National Player of the Month awards as well as National Team of the Year selections. 

During his prep and collegiate career, Landau was a member of Preston North End (EFL) Harrogate Town National League North from 2016-2017 in England.

He played and graduated from NCAA Div. II Lander University (S.C.) from 2018-2022 and was a 2X Elite Eight Tournament qualifier, All-conference tournament team member and won the play of the season award in 2021. 

He previously coached at South Carolina United Junior Academy and was a graduate assistant at Lander University during the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

Landau graduated from Lander in 2023, earning his Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing while also earning an M.B.A. from Lander recently as well.
