Lommerse Named AAC Swimmer of the Week

Freshman Connor Lommerse of Columbia was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Swimmer of the Week, the league announced on Monday.

This is the fourth edition of the awards for the 2025-26 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Dec. 1.

AAC Men's Swimmer of the Week
Connor Lommerse - Fr. - Sanford, FL - Columbia College

• Competed at the VMI Keydet Invite from Nov. 14-16 in Virginia
• Posted a school-record time of 54.8 seconds in the 100 yard Backstroke.
• Finished the 50 freestyle in 23.5 seconds.
• Needed 50.9 seconds to finish the 100 Freestyle.
• This is his first weekly honor of the season.
