FERRUM, Va. - The Columbia College men's tennis team shut out Div. III foe Ferrum College 9-0 on the road Tuesday afternoon in the mountains of Virginia.

Columbia's doubles teams won by scores of 6-3, 6-1, and 6-1 and included the top team of Jonah Haller and Liam Barry, the #2 team of Gabriel Kian and Waldo Bosch, and the #3 team of Tiaan Jacobs and Owen Brumfield, respectively.

In singles, each of the six Koala players won in straight sets led by Bosch at the top line winning 6-3, 6-3 while Haller followed at the 2 line, 6-3, 6-2. Barry then won 6-0, 6-0 at the 3 spot before Jacobs took it 6-0, 7-5 at the 4 line. Finally, Kian shutout his foe 6-0, 6-0 at the 5 line while Michael Schiesz won 6-3, 6-1 at the 6 spot.

The Koala men improve to 3-1 overall and will next return home next Saturday, March 1 to host Reinhardt in conference play at 1:00 pm.
