Columbia College (SC) Women’s Basketball Travels to Bluefield

Bluefield, Va. (01-18-22) – Columbia College (SC) women's basketball team will hit the road for its fourth straight game this Wednesday, Jan. 19, when they travel to Bluefield, Va. to take on the Rams of Bluefield University.

THE MATCHUP

  • This will be the second meeting of the season between Bluefield and Columbia College.
  • In the first meeting (Dec. 8) the Rams defeated the Koalas by three, 50-47, in Porter Gym.

 First Meeting Numbers

  • Wynter Webb recorded a double-double, 11 points-10 rebounds.
  • Carnasia Webb scored a team-high 13 points.
  • Hali Doctor dropped in 10 to round out the double-digit scorers.
  • Breanna Sharpe came off the bench to score six points and tie the game-high in rebounds with 10.
  • Bluefield was led by Jadyn Hoover who scored a game-high 16 points.

  • Columbia College will closeout its five-game road swing this Saturday, Jan. 22 at cross-town rivals CIU Rams in a 2 p.m. contest.
