Boyce Finishes Terrific Freshman Season at Nationals

ELKHART, IN - Columbia College women's freshman swimmer Grace Boyce finished off her incredible freshman season by competing in three events at the NAIA National Championships at the Elkhart Aquatics Health Center in Indiana over the weekend.

The AAC Newcomer of the Year and native of Camden, SC swam in the 200 IM, the 100 Breaststroke and the 200 Breast during the week.

On Thursday, Boyce finished 31st in the nation out of 42 swimmers in the 200 IM in a time of 2:13.34, the 3rd best time in the AAC.

On Friday, Boyce swam the 100 Breaststroke and finished 21st in the country out of 28 in a time of 1:07.24 and was the top time in the conference.

Finally, on Saturday Boyce swam the 200 yard Breast and placed 19th in the nation out of 27 in 2:26.7 for the second-best time in the conference.
