AAC Announces All-Academic, Champions of Character Honorees for Women's Track & Field

WALESKA, Ga. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) announced the All-Academic and Champions of Character Teams for men's and women's track & field on Thursday.

To qualify for the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 or above.

Earning AAC All-Academic Honors were nine Lady Koala track and field athletes. They include Tylashia Alston, Avarose Buccino, Faith Eugene, Ma'Kiah Floyd, Juliana Gonzalez, Kezia Jones, Doreshia McAllister, Amelia Nifong, and Jada Robinson.

For the Champions of Character Team, student-athletes are nominated by their coach for best exemplifying the five core values of the NAIA Champions of Character program. The five values are integrity, respect, responsibility, servant leadership, and sportsmanship.

The Lady Koala Champion of Character Honoree is Juliana Gonzalez.
